I have pondered the chakras, which in yoga and tantric thought refer to energy centers. The word “chakra” refers to a wheel. Thus the spinning wheel or chakra is associated with energy. There are seven primary chakras located along the spine starting with the first or root chakra at the base of the spine moving up the spine to the crown chakra at the top of the head. I’ve read a lot about chakras, talked with friends and tried to learn as much as possible.
I’ve opened this group to invite others to share their knowledge and experience with chakras. I’m hopeful this will be a place where people can talk about how they have experienced energy and how the concept of chakras has helped interpret experience. I can envision both theoretical and experiential conversations around the topic.
