My name is Mark. I grew up in NJ within short distance of many major cities, (NYC, Philadelphia, ect.) and for the past couple years have taken an interest in Religious and Philosophical debates after having a life-changing NDE called a "panic attack" in which I developed an immediate anxiety disorder in relation to Death and the truth of what lies beyond. This lead to an objective historical-critical approach to finding legitamate information on hotly debated topics without first having an agenda. I have made it my goal to begin my quest for truth in an agnostic mindset to maximize objectivity and openmindedness. This has led me to researching current "New Testament Scholarship" of both liberal and conservative camps in order to make an informed inquiry of what lies beyond. For this purpose I have made this account for my Philosophical/Religious inquires and debates.
Why only study the "New Testament?" It is the only religious institution that promotes the concept of salvation by faith and damnation by disbelief. In constrast, other religions and idealogies seem less of an expediancy to research. It is this damnation of modern christianity on disbelievers that propels me to learn as much reliable information as I can in order to make a well-informed descision that may or may not affect me for "eternity".
