I went to the Polish Mass for Holy Thursday. I was asked if I wanted to have my feet washed and I said yes.  My son thought that this was embarrassing but I was honored.  I even understood the sermon pretty well.  The priest talked about Peter, and Jesus washing the feet.  He said that there is no Eucharist with the priest and no priest without the Eucharist.  I thought that was profound.  I was touched by this Mass.
