I'm a pretty easygoing guy. I usually get along with other people well, even if we don't have much in common. I tend to be very friendly and can be outgoing, but at other times I'm very shy. It depends on how familiar and comfortable I am with the group overall. I'm absolutely at my best though with people on an individual basis or when I'm teaching.
On that note, I'm currently teaching German part time at O'Fallon Township High School in O'Fallon, Illinois. So far it's going great for me and I truly believe the Lord has called me to it. My students are great and I'm so happy every time I see any of them succeed! I'm a little worried, as it seems that several of the students I had my first year of teaching have formed a sort of "Herr Roe" cult. The instant they start breaking out the Kool-Aid, I'm disowning all of them. So far they've just settled on using my name to represent their teams while playing games in other classes though.
I get the most enjoyment out of spending time with family and friends, watching movies/TV, eating/cooking, reading, and I've become a little more athletic in the last few years, although I still don't fit the jock mold. I'm liking sports more and more though. In addition to all of this, I teach Eighth and Ninth Grade Boys' Sunday School at my church, which is tons of fun and a great blessing. I get to act my inner age around them...what more could a person ask for?
Above all I'm committed to my Lord and Savior, Jesus, and because of the grace and love He has shown me, I enjoy helping others and trying to help them see the love He has for them. Jesus invites EVERYONE who will to accept Him as personal Lord and Savior, and wants so much to see each and every person enter His Kingdom someday. He wished enough to communicate that message to us that He was even willing to die for each and every one of us individually.
Thanks for the add :)
