Was Mary Magdalene married to Jesus? If she was, does it in anyway demote Jesus from his divinity or title of King or Messiah? Are his teachings any less powerful or poignant for us today, if indeed he were married? What is the basis of your faith? Is the basis of your faith the fact that he was born from a Virgin Mother? Or is it his teachings of devotion, love and inspiration? The Catholic Church apologized for it's incorrect promotion of Mary Magdalene as "prostitute" in the 1950's and again in the 1970's. It was a tiny paragraph in a Catholic newspaper, that hardly anyone ever reads. They admitted they made a mistake. So in fact, she was not a prostitute as many believe, her story is yet to be told. Watch this space for more.
