About Me:
I live in Southeastern Washington State. I practice an earth-based eclectic neo-pagan religion which I do keep private as my family is uncomfortable with it. I am not a follower of the Wiccan or witchcraft faiths, for some reason people confuse me for being. I borrow / adopt various beliefs, ceremonies, holidays, etc. from different religions and faiths that agree with me and combine it all to create my own little religion or faith. My faith grows in its importance to me every day.
In my free or spare time I enjoy horror movies, arts and crafts, reading [both nonfiction and fiction], writing, music [listening, not playing or singing], cooking and baking, travel, fish keeping, gardening, photography and watching forensic shows on the television. The arts and crafts that I enjoy doing are beading, candle making, crocheting, needlework, oil painting, paint-by-number kits, pastels, sewing, and watercolor painting. I enjoy organic gardening, although I missed this last growing season due to health problems. Another past-time of mine is rummaging through yards sales, flea markets, and second-hand stores looking for furniture, iron and other diamonds in the rough that I can refinish and use for the original purpose or repurpose them to be used in whole new way. An example is that I found a bunch of old wrought iron, which I cleaned up and refinished in various colors and are now used in my garden as little barriers between and around the beds and as trellises and décor pieces.
