A friend whose mind is very scientific recently posed the notion that energy is contained and all matter is known and static meaning it doesn't change.  What do you believe.  I post this thought asking for your own thoughts because as a Reiki practitioner I work with energy, the aura, and feel that energy during a session.

When we pass and our body no longer serves us then where does our energy go?
