New Years resolutions are inexplicably annoying to me, and equally as necessary. Around New Years, I get the uncontrollable urge to inventory my life, make empty promises to myself and indulge in opposite behaviors.
This year I plan to TAKE ACTION:
I plan to MINIMIZE everything. How much I eat, how much I buy, how much stuff I schedule, the amount of goods and appliances in my house, the amount of waste I produce and the amount of energy I use.
And that's the easy stuff.
I plan to take action on the causes I am the most passionate about - Students for a Free Tibet, the Tibetan Photo Project and I plan to start a letter campaign to the Obama Administration, the United Nations, and of course China.
I plan to speak less and listen more.
I plan to experience more and intervene less.
I plan to be kinder.
That's it folks. Pretty simple, huh?
