I stumbled upon this website, and I must say, its been a blessing. I am very much into apologetics, and discussing interfaith issues, but am also here for friendship, so without further addue, HI!! Nice to meet you!!! Ohh yeah, about me, sorry. I'm a Catholic guy, I'm 18, I was homeschooled, I altar serve, I love to read, and I'm now a freshman in college. I am very spontanious and on the spot. I am definetely an extrovert, in other words I think out loud, which many of my friends get a kick out of.
I'm not like most guys out there. I believe in abstinance before marriage. I've read "Arms of Love" and its sequel, "Surrender." I love those books. My view on romance is what our society would call counter-cultural. If I had to describe myself, honestly, I would say I'm the nice guy in the backround type. I am a very commpassionate, hopeful, openminded, and full of joy kind of guy. I'm definetely a "fun-loving" type. I'm the kind of person that's not afraid to question society. I often do what others describe as "whacky." I try to not let Peer Pressure affect me at all. I'm very into Chivalry, and believe women should be treated with respect and dignity. For as one once comically yet truthfully put it. "If God created Woman after man, and took from man's own rib, I'm sure he added a whole lot of tweaks to them." I think there's some truth there. One of my favorite romantic quotes is this, "I know you don't believe in fairy tails, but if you did, I would want to be your knight in shining armor. I don't want you to have to worry about anything. Just wake up in the morning, and I'll take it from there."
"Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly, it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices wit the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. LOVE NEVER FAILS.
So, if you don't have a problem with any of the above, I would like to get to know you better. I'm in search of like-minded friends. I also love to help out with any problems you might have. You can "spill" all your problems on me. Anyway, isn't that what friends are for? A crying shoulder to lean on.
"Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Thy sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." Ps. 19:14 NASB
Peace and God Bless!!!
