Hi!! Just wanted to send a special thank you for the emails :) They make me feel more connected to the Body of Christ (which is something the Lord has been nudging me to focus on lately and remember about) I have a prayer request to add...Can you pray for my voice? I am a singer, and for the past month my throat has been irritated, swollen, and angry red. It has been worse sometimes more than others but has never been quite right since beginning of May!! Attempts at singing are thwarted with an airy, hollow, sometimes squeaky sound. I was trying to look down my throat tonight and saw a lump, not sure if it's just a nodule or what, but it tells me I need to get it checked out to remove it if need-be. I'm almost unable to talk it's so uncomfortable, sometimes it feels like there's a buzzing of some sort in between my vocal chords when I talk, and it starts to itch and make me cough. I want to use my singing ability to glorify God, not me...Please also pray for the courage for me to accept this and not be overly-dramatic about it? It may be NOTHING, and that would be great. But if it is, pray that I can accept my cross with gratitude. Thanks so much for reading this. Have a blessed night!!

I am so grateful for God in my life all day & night. I don't know what I used to do without his guidance and love and compassion. I do know what I did, I used alcohol & drugs and went to jail and had a ugly life. I was never happy, but ever since I decided to ask God to help me, I have found peace, and I am happy to awake everyday, and look forward to the new day coming. I have hope's for the future and I know it's going to be happy, because God tell's me so! GOD BLESS US ALL, AND WE ARE SO LUCKY TO KNOW HIM, AND WE WILL ALWAY'S HAVE HIS LOVE IN OUR HEART AND SOUL. DEBRA RINCON LOPEZ IN PORTLAND OREGON SURE DOES!

Thanks for the prayer for my father Derek. Its a good feeling to have a connection and to think that there are links all around to other people praying for others !!! Derek was physically fit and healthy up until 4 years ago when he had cancer, a heart attack and is in great pain when he moves around now. I notice that you describe yourself as spiritual yet not religious - I think I may share some of your feelings towards religion as although I am reading scripture at the moment I find that I am getting more out of praying for others and spiritual practice. Love and goodwill
