livelife, I have seen several of your post, and I believe you are trying to be as honest as possible, however, that will not go very well with God if it is not grounded in truth of the Bible. There is much in the Bible to absorb, and with most people, it takes several years of study before it really sinks in. Also, consider this, God is love, BUT, He will throw Satan and all his children into the lake of fire. I don't know which church you go to, but they should have told you that Satan has children in the human race, too. 1st John 3:10; "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." Now it is right to love your neighbor as thy self, but not at the disregard of God's Word. I am posting this in answer to a post you made in the topic of "Gay preachers; “In the bible, Homosexuality is a sin. So is pride. So is adultery. So is lusting. So is lying. So should we also not hire a proud preacher? Or a preacher who has lied? Or a preacher who once lusted as a child?” Unfortunately, today people do the following, because of the reasons of the following; "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:” Now livelife, what should we do when we encounter such as these? “from such turn away.” I Timothy 4:1-3: And II Timothy 3: 2-5) Now, that is a hard truth, but coming from the Bible, it is the truth, regardless of what we think. However, before you turn away, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” (II Timothy 2: 25-26) Now, livelife, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” (I Timothy 4:15-16) What about those that will not hear you?
