About Me:
I am 56 and retired from BellSouth August 2001.I have a son,John, that was killed in a one car auto collision in March 2003. He is my only child but I do have two S-daughters and G-children from them.Since the death of John my relationship with God is closer than ever before.I knew from the moment they told me of my son's death,God was the only one to get me through the worst time of my life.I am now involved with Families of Highway Fatalities through South Carolina Department of Public Safety.I go with a SC Trooper to schools,military bases,churches etc.to speak about my loss and how it has affected my life and highway safety.FHF is a non-profit organization that connects families together after their loss from a highway fatality.God and this program has saved me plus other avenues I've chosen to help me.Also,I've just published a book of poetry and messages I've received from God "WORDS FROM GOD THROUGH A GRIEVING MOTHER'S HEART" June 2008.
