I was 26 and riding a bike 14 miles a day to wash dishes...a nice white girl invited me to her home twice to play touchfootball with her husband, family and friends...I never went, being black....her kindness and openess touched me....a job promotion came up to be a cook....she was next in line for the job...was not asked...I was even considered for the promotion.....I prayed to a God who I knew not to be kept from stealing from her....I was the only black there....I thought of Martin Luther Kings real message of justice.....the boss gave me reasons I could not have the job....I was glad....and I dispaired that there was no justice for people like her....only fake friends like myself....my heart seperated.....a Great Comforting Wind bore me Heavenward......and I knew Him, who had known a Cross who had saved me when I had called on His Name....three days later I emerged from His peace to relize that I had met God......I a former  black  intellectual Atheist.....God is Love...amen...
