    Elizabeth,
I have listed a new story in my journal. I hope that you will take the time to read, enjoy and leave a comment as to how it read. I am so glad some of us have continued to persevere with our writing. It can be a wonderful way to let go of some things that may be deep in our souls.

I always enjoy your journal postings. I hope that you will continue to write. You are an interesting read.
    Namaste,

    Elizabeth,

I agree. There is/was so much about the grit and fervor of our ancestors hopes/dreams that I get goosebumps thinking about it at times. I think Hope was a big part of that, or at least, the moving away from hopelessness.

Without sounding too much like an old fogey, or perhaps I will no matter what; it seems to me that the instant gratification mindset is removing from our society that very wistfulnes and drive that gave our forebearers a dream to hang onto and a passion to accept life on its own terms, come what may.

    Thanks for your supportive comments!

Thank you so much for visiting and reading!

Also, thank you for the direction to the Glass Woman Prize. It helps to have other writers who are willing to look at our works, see that it may fit a particular genre, and help direct us there.

As for coloring at the kitchen table, thank you, I had a wonderful childhood and yes, they will remember. Usually not all the cranky days either. I have a huge treasure trove of memories like this because I was blessed with a Mum who still liked to play, and enjoyed her kids.

I am one of the very fortunate ones I know. It doesn't happen for all.

Thank you again for your support and encouragement - I truly look forward to reading and hearing more from you!
