God holds the gifts of true and lasting peace. It is primarily through prayer and selfless acts of kindness, compassion, generosity and charity that God’s vision for our lives unfolds. Through prayer God gives unconditionally of his ocean of grace, and our hearts are set at peace. We each hold peace in our hearts. We call this peace the spirit, the breath of God, our life. God transforms our hearts and minds into beacons of serene joyous light. God’s light radiates to everyone we encounter, everyone we touch, everyone in the world we pray for. By re-dedicating our lives to God in word and action God is enthroned in our hearts. Praying to God for peace, God bestows his grace, he takes away our pain, grief, sadness, distress, and darkness, and he gives us refuge, protection, healing and sets our hearts at peace. As a prayer group committed to seeing God’s vision of peace established in the world, we can join our hearts together in prayer, in devotion, in love. We can make a difference. We can change the world !
