How kind and compassionate you are.
Namaste Dear Friend,
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I felt some soothing and clues as to reveal more about my situation. My faith in god never been broken but, my faith in others had been broken by the extent of the crime and when I was looking for help, doors slamed in my face. Doors that should have been legally open, little to say the damage was done, I am stil fighting. The key word between me and that man was FAITH.The way you described a soul mate just brought me closer to faith, as I surrendered again to god. Gosh that's healing. Thank you so much Ann.
Thank you for the privilege of your friendship, Ann!
Thanks Serenity for sharing your thoughts that are very important. Perhaps my post to you was meant to attribute the knowledge of good and evil appropriately. God is all powerful and yet he can do no evil. Perhaps it is not the question of God's ability, but rather, our interpretation of what we see and understand. Clearly, a perfect God would not create death, sickness, disease, wars, insanity, hatred, etc...Yet, in the natural state these things exist. Spirit is very different and that is what we seek to understand within ourselves, the reflective measure of designed perfection in a Kingdom where many things fade away.
Thanks for your comments on my post on Christianity.
There is no question that the Bible contains a great deal of wisdom.
I choose to use the words awareness, and ignorance to describe man's behavior. Words like good, and evil mean many things to people. They are also judgmental. There are things that are obviously wrong, but there are many thing that are considered good, or bad based on a person's spiritual system.
If God is all powerful, then anything that happens, is his doing. If a being such as Satan, can perform behaviors that are against the will of God, then God is not all powerful.
My major problem with Christianity is the idea that an all powerful God created man. Then because of man's imperfection, he will send them to an eternal hell..
Remember that when Jesus was on the cross, he ask God to forgive the people responsible for his crucifixion, saying "they know not what they are doing". This was probably the greatest act of compassion ever. If he can forgive such people that he can forgive us all.
Thank you for your comment on my posting of Miss Maya Angelou's poem. She just gives me chills when she speaks, to have come through all she has is truely an inspiration to me.
Thank you and bless you my friend. Jiane
Thank you, friend.
