I'm trying to change the category of one of my journal entries but I cannot find the page to accomplish that task. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thank you

I was able to add a new category but the new category does not show up in the drop down when I try to change the category of a post. Where is my goof up?

Thank You

Good morning Stardove,

I got the category of the post changed but, the Contents List category hasn't shown up on the right side of the page yet. I'm beginning to think there is an intermittent glitch - things do not always work the way they should. For example, there are times I'll go to a blog from my home page and I'll get an error message. I can return to my home page, try again and the link works.

I like the new platform, but I sometimes think it was written by Microsoft. Undecided

What I'm attempting to accomplish is to find a way to make reading the blogs less cumbersome. I'm sure that if we keep plugging away at it, we can figure this out. (I'm speaking generic 'we', not you and I specifically.)

Later Edit - it seems to be working alright now.

FYI for all.  You can share your blogs/journals with your friends.  Just pay attention, if you click share.  The default gives you personal email address (not good).  You can remove address and put you ID name in before you share your blogs.

Guess I am unclear myself about OP question.  Embarassed  I did check and see how you linked your blogs into one blog.  Cool.

Howdy, Neo.... I checked your journal page and it looks like you have 2 categories.. The default "General" and the new one you added that contains one journal entry.

It looks like you figured it out, or is this what you mean by an intermittent problem?

When I started my blog, I didn't think about a Table of Contents. As time went by it seemed awful cumbersome to scroll through an entire blog to find a particular entry I found interesting, so I've been thinking of how to make it easier for readers. Now I need to figure out how to get the software not to treat each line as a paragraph and insert a space. That would make the TOC shorter.

Thanks for the compliment. It is said that necessity is the mother of invention - sometimes laziness is.Wink

I was too impatient. I shut down my computer and walked away for a bit - came back and the new category was there. One of my silly tendencies is to do things in stream of consciousness style, yakking while I'm doing it, thinking things will happen Right Now!

The intermittent problem with following links from my home page to journal entries from other members is a different thingie. It is minor - I normally sluff it off as Murphy sneaking in and having a little fun.
