First of all I have many pages such as facebook, myspace and Hi5. I check the others sometimes more than this one. Please feel free to click on the links which I put in "organizations and affiliations" to see what I'm up to in case it seems I haven't been to this page for a while.. I'm a spiritual being having a human experience~ I suspect that I may be an "earth angel," a term I learned from Doreen Virtue. God, angels, guides, archangels, masters are very important in my life. I've been frustrated by established religions, especially beliefs that their religion is best. I think a lot of people are moving towards a 'new spirituality' with new answers. Ok, I don't think, I know this is true. I'd be happy to talk about or study spiritual things all the time. I have learned a lot about Christianity, Islam and a little about Buddhism. I know the basic beliefs of the other main religions. None of them are suitable for me. The most important things are love, peace, compassion, getting closer to God and kindness towards others; but I can't accept some of the teachings, practices and rules. I was attending a really wonderful, beautiful, out of this world, fun, exciting, loving, homey, familylike church for a while, and some of the members became like family to me. I was also very close to the main pastor. I had to stop going though because my thinking and my pastor's thinking and what was being preached were too different. It would be great if churches were more open-minded and even welcomed people who didn't see things exactly the same as they do. I know that differences in thinking about religion have caused some wars and also strife between people, between church members, pastors, families...(blek!) Has anyone had an experience like this?
