Written by Paul to Timothy a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Written in 2Timothy 3;1-8

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come; For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of God, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of Godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins,, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. NOW AS Jannes, and JAMBRES RESISTED Moses, so do these also resist the truth; MEN OF CORRUPT MINDS, disapproved concerning the faith...

***Yes, you may have to endure hardship, but be diligent and rightly divide the word of God. Be a vessal fit for the masters use. The last days include the time from the writing of this letter by Paul, until the return of Christ.

Some have a form of godliness, its an outward appearance of reverence for God,. Denying its power describes religious activity that is not connected to a living relationship with JESUS CHRIST. As time has progressed people have begun to participate in religious activities, that are empty. Some dont believe that miracles can still be performed in the name of Jesus. They dont teach healing by his name or by his blood. In fact some dont even believe in the divinity of JESUS CHRIST,  and or faith in Jesus Christ, some say that he was just a man a prophet maybe you know what is happening because you are alive.

But this kind of religion provokes Gods anger.(see Is 1-10-18).

Turn away is a command, not a light request. We are not to link up with and have nothing in common with them or this type of evil person. (1Cor:15-33)
