The bible says that blessings and cursings should not come out of the same mouth. Some may say something Good to someone at one point and then turn around and say something hurtful. There is also scripture that says we can decree a thing and make it so. Are you speaking how you cant find a job, cant find a husband, cant pay your mortgage, or rent or bills. Are you perhaps getting what you say? The bible says you can have what you say. James who is said to have been the brother of Jesus has a lot to say on this subject, he only wrote five chapters but they are powerful. He talks about how the tongue is small like a ships wheel, but how it can direct the entire course of our life. So whoever controls his tongue is a wise person.

In another place the bible says what is in the heart comes out of the mouth, and some have evil in their heart and so it comes out often in their conversations, they speak bad things against other people, even against their own nation, Those who dont want in God we trust on our countries money. Now we are in a debt crisis, and we have lost ratings in the financial world, and other countries connected to us are not able to stablize their finances, a lot of these nations received money from us. Some even do not want prayer in schools so children are leaving school graduating and not even finding jobs, or able to attend college, many because their parents have lost their monies in their stock accounts. Some dont want us to sing God bless America, and I heard that praise or a song is the highest form of prayer, because you are giving the fruits of your lips in a song. Maybe some of us need to get control of our lips, and set a different course for our family and our nation. Also many no longer want to hear the pledge of allegiance, said at ball parks or games, because it says ONE NATION UNDER GOD. I would think that what the bible says about how good it is for a nation to have the true and living God on their side. I Would want him to protect our soldiers while we are at war, and to keep us in the time of a storm, scripture tells us to pray for the governing authorites so that we may live in peace. 

What about parents Telling a kid he is just like his father,  or mother and knowing you dont mean it in a good way. Or you are not going to be anything, anyhow, then it should not be surprising if it becomes a self fullfilling prophecy. I am glad I had a mother who decreed Good things over me and my life and prayed for me all of her life, and knowing that some of her prayers are still being fullfilled in my life.

So maybe getting control of  one of the smallest organs in our body our tongue is an extremely important thing. Especially if you want to direct your path, or have God direct your path. So that Mercy and Grace will follow you all the days of your LIFE, and Knowing you will dwell in the house of the LORD FOREVER.

MANY are bragging in this generation how they dont believe in God, the words in the bible and heaven or hell, but what if you are wrong, and its your lip service that causes your destination to not be a place which you cant tolerate,  a place of eternal darkness, nashing of the teeth, and screaming and thats through out eternity, and its all because you never decided about the issue, of who do you say JESUS CHRIST IS, OR  HAVE you Verbally decided against him. Control your tongue stop cussing, stop uttering curses, stop killing your life, etc.

James ends his book last chapter five, and the very last verse by saying that he who saves a soul, hides  a multitude of sins, so have you sinned and done some things that you cant forgive and you think God might not forgive, so why not bring the Good news to others, that JESUS SAVES, and save a soul.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, and those who believe in him will not perish. Seems like God puts a lot of importance, in our words, so maybe its time you listened and learned what his word says, and not leave it up to someone else who you have never met, and live by the bibles standard of wisdom which is the FEAR OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD. THE TRUE AND THE LIVING GOD.
