I've been kickin myself in the tush since january and have lost over 30 pounds!!!I excerise 3 times a week and wednesday is the big day for me I watch the biggest loser on Hulu and bike for an hour burning 1,000 calories!!Yay Me!!!

hi all!! i am 26 and have recently discovered there's a deeper problem going on under the surface than just being hungry. i am not QUITE overweight, but my BMI says i'm over the line...
i believe God can get us over our weight-loss goals if we keep our eyes on Him. after all, He is our REASON for living, so we should honor Him with our bodies, our minds, our souls. our culture plays a major part in our weight, i believe. so first off, ladies! CELEBRATE OURSELVES!! don't be afraid to have ONE piece of chocolate! BECAUSE YOU'RE AMAZING! you're women of GOD!! god bless and i hope to see you all 20 or 30 pounds lighter :)
How do people go about focusing on getting unwanted pounds off when they are depressed about having those unwanted pounds to begin with and they turn to excess food for comfort? How does one get out of this cycle? I seriously need to drop 50-60 pounds for health reasons but I am depressed and overwhelmed by the whole idea and I have been for a looooonnnnnnnngggggg time and the days and weeks and months are ticking away.
I was in OA for 3 years, I've had therapy and I'm still stuck. I just feel hopeless and as if I have some kind of block or something that I can't break thru.

hi everyone! i have an announcement to make..i lost 2 kilograms, from 70kg to 68 kg..i couldnt believe it in just about a month.. well, i know that isn't quite a less but feels so good..
thank you for this group..proud to me a member online as i really have this sickness - of being lazy -, to go around and doing physical just to get off that extra fat in me..well, i do go out out with friends, but since all of us are working, sometimes, i stay in the house and do nothing....and at least here, i will be encouraged to get off that extra calories reading the details
well hello! im kylie and im new to the group. so i stopped smoking awhile back. i have recently relized that all i do now is eat or want to eat. and not good foods ether just a bunch of junk i have gained a little bit more then i am ok with i was a bigger girl to start with now its just getting unhealthy.. i have been trying to get more active and eat more healthy but nothing is working, im only 19 you would think it would be easy to drop a few pounds. hahah not with my luck. with no one to really help me out or help push me to my goals i decided to join this group and see if i could get some nice friendly help!
