    I love spiritual walking and try to make the most out of all walking that I do. I am lucky enough to have a park with a lake near to where I live that I walk around drinking in the trees, flowers ducks and birds. For me, nature is a huge part of spiritual walking !

    Hey Kids. I would love to join your group here. I have been walking for several years but I have not found or developed a means to tie spirituality into the walk. I do practice meditation and participate avidly in Sufi Dancing here in KC and the Midwest. While I have practiced Walking meditation, that endeavor is typically very slow and deliberate. OTOH, I walk fast and typically lift free weights as I go. So Kathy, do tell, how might I best engage Spirit into the walk. Much love and thanks, Silas

    A trainer at a gym told me it's not good to do more than 30 to 45 min. of cardio, including walking. I'm not quite sure of his explanation. It was something to do with eventually burning up muscle instead of fat which may result in a loss of lbs on the scale, but much fat is retained and causes "jiggles." Do you know what this guy's talking about, Kathy? Or anybody?

    My friend,since you have asked for the lords strength and so shall u get it to overcome your hurdles.God almighty is within you,not in mansions of gold and wood,.Pickup a stone and he is there,cut a piece of wood and you will find him there.Ahem Brahsmi means that,I am brahma,the intire universe is within you.To know yourself is to know god.God ,angels,devil are all within us, it is for us to decide whom to let dominate us.     Hi everyone, I am new here and I am excited to join this group. I feel I need to be apart of this group. I have not walked much lately because I had surgery recently, but I am now ready to begin walking again. I really need the Lord's strength to be able to keep up my motivation. I have diabetes and I know it would help so much to lose weight and get fit. I hope to meet others here and be able to be as supportive as I can to those who need it. As well as finding support myself.

    I love to walk in the Spring and Summer. Looking at the trees and nature is so calming to me. I am able to slow everything down from blood pressure to breathing. Not only am I excersizing I am slowing down my mind, thinking about what I am presently seeing, and smelling. I 'm losing weight also. Breathing in deeply and releasing the breathe with each step I take, heightening my sense of smell,and well being. After my walk I feel energized, refreshed and ready to go. Just being outside is refreshing. Excersizing helps clear my mind of negativity and lets me go home with a good feeling about myself and my life.

    Hi Everybody here I'm in the UK and hope this fact dosen't disqualify me from this group. Spiritual walking, yes, it's a trully great way of finding and then staying in the present moment for health healing and maintaining a calm mind. It would be good to see how people in the States are getting on with this:) Love and Peace Ray
