Status:We had a lovely Thanksgiving meal with my son and dil and it was great to hear her laugh. I'd told my son that he was a gift of God as a young child. I told her that I felt the same way about her. Hey, if your mil says it, who could argue?
About Me:I was raised Episcopalian, but I was also taught that there are as many valid paths to God as there are religions. There is a strong psychic streak in my father's family, so I know it exists. I believe in reincarnation because we have so many lessons to learn, and because everything else in Nature is recycled in some way. I have no right to judge anyone else's life or their choices, because I'm not perfect and because we have no control over most of the things that happen to us. Some people believe that we are here to experience negativity because there isn't any on the Other Side/Heaven/Nirvana/Paradise, or simply Home--whatever you want to call it. I have a warped sense of humor, which I have carefully passed on to my son and his friends. You start them on Rocky & Bullwinkle, then Mel Brooks and Monty Python's Flying Circus. In so many situations, our options are becoming furious, crying, cursing, or just exercising a perverse sense of humor to get by.
Hi Karbie!
CallielouIt was so good to hear from you again. Thank you so much for your beautiful comment on my pic!
I agree with you, fall is the most beautiful season of the year. It also creates the most outdoor work too. (LOL)
Peace And Blessings To You And Your Family!
