I am a baptized, confirmed Roman Catholic. But my faith is more open and liberal than the RCC is today. In Jn 6:37 Jesus says He does not turn away anyone. I don't believe abortion and gay issues should take precedence over Christ's Gospel message in Matt 25 and the concerns of the poor and the sick. I question a hierarchy which covers up pedophilia. I dissent according to conscience. I am a mainstream to liberal Christian. I believe in a Creator and Christ as my Savior, believing He rose from the dead in bodily form and ascended into heaven. And it is not for us to judge but He who will come again to judge the living and the dead. This doesn't mean I haven't had bumps or doubts along my continuing walk and lifelong journey. I have looked at various faith groups. All are human. None can have all the answers.
