Hello BeliefNeters,

I am here to give and receive insights and half-cooked ideas about the meeting place of spirituality and psychology. I enjoy the writings of Carl Jung, Robert Johnson, Robert Bly (just finished his excellent short book, "A Little Book on the Human Shadow"), Joseph Campbell; and Marianne Williamson, Neale Donald Walsch, Charles and Myrtle Filmore, H. Emily Cady and others. 

I am a hospice Chaplain, and would be glad to converse with others from the hospice field.  Encouraging self-care and assisting those facing "compassion fatigue" among professional caregivers is also a strong interest of mine.

But I can't be all serious.  I like comedy, and used to perform professionally in clubs in the 90's.  I worked with Dave Attel, Doug Stanhope, Steve Marmel, and other "dark poets" of the genre, though my material was much lighter in tone.  (But not as funny.)

I like to sing and play drums and a little guitar.  Check out the children's song I wrote and recorded with my friend Jim Paine on his Mac, below under "Audio".  He played guitars, and I did percussion and singing.  Uploaded on June 19, 2008.
