My personal belief system allows for universal reconciliation with God on His terms after we pass from this life and I believe that making a heaven on earth through the teachings of Jesus should be a priority.     Anything that detracts from it, pious religious activities, gluttony, moral misbehavior, etc should be cut from our lives.  In my opinion, the goal for our lives is simple, as Jesus outlined in his two greatest commandments.  I detest fighting between religions.  I believe we all have it "wrong" and are all trying to get it "right", and that our similarities are greater than our differences.
