My World Religions class continues to unfold universal ideas about Spirit and humanity.  It is amazing that across so many cultures and times that the same concepts appear.  I have found that most religions honor God, although they may call it something different depending on their culture, and that most religions aim to find the eternal and the good.  My studies confirm my belief in a Universal Spirit that governs all.  We have only to seek if we want to find answers.  Direct knowlege of Spirit may be found by our faith and meditation.  What a blessing to become immersed in Spirit and to gain a better understanding of people and their religions.

The mysics appear to share similar revelations of the essence of Spirit.  I delight in studying sacred texts of religious thought.  I find it enlightening to study history, ideas, and leaders of the major world faiths.  I am grateful for the opportunity to study with such a wonderful group of people in my class.  This too is a great blessing!

I pray for the world and its people daily.  Maybe through better understanding each other we can find peace and harmony in our world.
