I have had a week to recover from the "potty" incident on the plane and moved directory into the YOU drove my car, along with other things. At least here I don't need a parachute to get away from the "little boy" who is doing the howling and throwing the temper tantrums.
During this trip the song "The Things We Do For Love" kept running through my mind I wonder if it was just me or if the men I met during my life so far are just, dare I say it, mommas boys? There is no mistake that I love my husband and his father as well but the truth of the statement that mom made about becoming more like our real selves as we age is true. Boy am I going to be in trouble! Or, my daughter is. I'm going to start changing right now. I have noticed you can tell those who have a joy of life ,no matter what they have, or, how much money they have, and then the other kind. Most of the people with money have a hard time really being happy and when they get old like pop ,all they worry about is who is after it and how they can keep it (BP)
I have decided to take the advice that was given me so long ago and that has worked when I've used it. It is true. The older you get the smarter your parents are. I finally discovered how smart my mom is. YA GOTTA HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR.
