Thank you for sharing your loss, I lost my 13year old border collie to cancer. Pets give so much to our lives sometimes you don't realize it till they are gone. Do pets go to heaven? I don't know but their memories stay with us inour hearts and that's where the Lord resides.

Reverend Billy Graham said, "I think God will have prepared everything for our perfect happiness. If it takes my dog being there [in Heaven], I believe he'll be there.” I believe all dogs and other animals go to heaven. Actually I believe all animals return to God at death. We have all come from God and we all return to God when we leave this life.\
I believe all animals will go to heaven and I believe some animals come back here in spirit to comfort and guard us. I have seen several of my dogs after they have died and been aware of their presence around my home. I also know that some have come back into my life as different dogs. I have one right now who was my dog before and has returned to be with me. Dogs (and other pets) going to heaven is the basis of my church. All Creatures ULC is metro Detroit's (MI) only pets welcome church. We celebrate our love for God and all the things our animals teach us about life. Amen. Reverend Claudia, Muffin, Tootsie, Bentley, Dinky, and the birds...

I absolutely believe they go to heaven. They have a life essence too so I'm sure of it.

I believe they go to heaven because they are God's creatures and why wouldn't he want his own creation with Him??

Yes! I believe that all animals go to heaven! I also believe that God gives us animals here on earth to care for and love! Benny is my service dog. We got Benny when he was 15 months old from his abusive owner for free. Benny is a golden retriever. We had him Blessed when we first got him by our Pastor!

I truly believe all animals go to heaven! Why else would God have created them in the Garden of Eden? I lost my "puppy" (She was 10 yrs. old) Sadie two weeks ago and I can't imagine her being anywhere but with God! I hope you feel better soon and that your grandma is o.k.

By the way. I still remember, fondly, the hamster I had when I was ten years old. His name was "Alexander the Great" and I buried him in my backyard in NYC 38 years ago. I still remember his fuzzy butt, I still remember his little pink nose. I still remember losing him in my room for almost a week, and how upset I was, and the joy I felt when his chubby hiney came walking out from under my bed hungry as can be. I remember how happy he made me. What I don't remember is why he died. I was only 10 and had had him from "well I don't remember" but it was as long as a hamster lives. I still smile when I think of him. I'm smiling now. Bill18702

Heaven, As I've been told, is where you are surrounded by all comforts. If Noodle was your comfort here then, likewise, he should be your comfort there. However, I don't believe in lingering on death. I believe in the celebration of the life that was. Whether Noodle goes to heaven in spirit or not is irrelevent as he/she will travel with you where ever you go. Hence, yes their are pets, as well as anything else you love and wish to take with you, in heaven. I will always love my "DUKE". I had love to give before I met him. I love him now. I will continue to love him for the rest of my life and beyond (if there is one). So the answer to your question is YES.

I don't know what heavens is, I've only heard about heaven from people who are alive. However, whatever is there after my death if it's heaven then it must have all the animals that have preceded me in death. I always say that when I die I want to go to dog heaven, now that will be paradise for me.
"We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde
