Do you have a local SPCA? Or you can look up dog adoption on the internet, maybe put in the word free, or watch your local papers.

Lost my friend almost a year ago now not a day goes by that I don't think about him.  I would love to find another dog to fill that blank spot in my life but find that I do not have the money to pay the out landish adpotion fees.  Is there anyone out there that can help me find a new friend?

HERE IS A NOTE TO EVERYONE FROM THEIR DOG:
Hi, I’m your dog.. I ’ve got something to say to you ....

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

4. Donʼt be angry with me for long and donʼt lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainments. But I have only you.

5. Talk to me. Even if I donʼt understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.

7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand, and yet I choose not to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps Iʼm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long or my heart might be getting old or weak.

9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old.

10. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you canʼt bear to watch. Donʼt make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Because I love you so.

Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful thing without Godʼs critters. Please pass this on to other pet owners.

PROPERTY LAWS ACCORDING TO DOGS

If I like it, it's mine

If it's in my mouth, it's mine

If I can take it from you, it's mine

If I had it a little while ago, it's mine

If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way

If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine

If it just looks like mine, it's mine

If I saw it first, it's mine

If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine

If it's broken, it's yours

I had a dream I was flying with a white owl. It was leading me to my destination. It seemed to know the direction I needed to go in. I started to feel exhausted and weak from flying and the owl lead me in the direction of a bridge. It was night time. The bridge seemed so far away I thought I would never reach my destination. I had to follow the bridge. I dont know what my destination was.

I had a dream I was lying down in bed and a wolf cub came into my room and laid down beside me bed. When it heard something in the hallway it left the room and went down the hallway. I wanted to jump out of bed and tell someone about the wolf cub. I felt excited. I felt at peace when it was beside my bed.It seemed to be protecting me.

yes I too believe animals have souls and are waiting for us to join them. I had the same dream for years after my dog Digger died. He was waiting for me in a church. I walked down the aisle towards him but never got there. All I wanted to do was hug him close.

I put a photo of him and me in the photo gallery.

I  believe that animals are more in tune with our emotions than people.

Years ago I was in the kitchen and had a  panic attack and I looked towards the window saw my dog Tarah. She looked so concerned for me.

At night when I  got into bed she would come close to the bed check on me and  then lay on the floor. Then she would go and check on the kids. She was like an angel watching over us constantly.

It was heart wrenching when she died. I felt all the colour go our of my life and the sun disappeared.

Even after she died I still saw her at the back kitchen window looking in and still watching over me.
