About Me
Hi, I'm Dena, editor of Beliefnet's Inspiration area. I'm also the editor of the music area and work on the entertainment section as well. You can also catch my work on our religion and pop culture blog Idol Chatter.
In case you're new to Inspiration, here's some of the stuff we like to cover: uplifting stories about amazing people--those who've overcome incredible odds, put themselves in danger, help those in need, think of others before themselves--stories about angels, difficult life lessons, incredible animals and so much more. But, my all-time favorite features has to be the stories you send in about the real-life events that have changed you for the better. We also like to interview inspiring celebrities, like Mr. T, Alan Alda, Judy Collins, George Foreman, and many others. Sometimes we love your submissions so much that we create entire features on them--like "When You Come Home" our multimedia tribute to our troops, or this collection of Beliefnet readers' happy moments, or this month's gallery of inspiring pets.
Feel free to leave me a comment about what you like and don't like about our inspiration coverage. Hope to hear from you soon!
