Our country has gone far away from the principles

it was founded upon. I still believe there are many

people who believe in God, family and country.

As long as I have breath in me I will strive to serve

God first, my life, loving Him, my family and yes

my country. I do not put my trust in flags,

constitution or governments, these will never save

you. I put my trust in God who can save us, who

can cause kingdoms to rise and fall.

If America will turn back to God, she can become

a great country once again. If my people which are

called by my name, shall humble themselfs and

pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked

ways; then I shall hear from heaven and will forgive

their sin, and heal their land."

(ll Chronicles 7:14) That is a promise from the

            Holy Bible.

Notice it doesn't say if anyone will pray, it says "if

my people which are called by my name." God's people

praying will make the difference if we will turn back

            to Him.

All that is necessary for evil to flourish is for good men

to do nothing. Our land is fill with violence, perversion,

drugs, crimes and all the evil we see around us. I put my

trust in God and not man, striving to make a difference

as long as I live. There are many of God's people trying

            to make a difference.

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go,

and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you

until I have done what I have spoken to you.

    Enjoy Your Morning Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got

together to visit  their old university professor. Conversation

soon turned into complaints about  stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen

and returned  with a large pot of coffee and an assortment

of cups – porcelain, plastic,  glass, crystal, some plain

looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling  them

to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the

professor said: “If  you noticed, all the nice looking

expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind  the plain

and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only

the best for  yourselves, that is the source of your

         problems  and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee.

In most cases  it is just more expensive and in some cases

even hides what we drink. What all  of you really wanted

was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the

best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and

position in  society are the cups. The cups are just tools to

hold and contain Life, and the  type of cup we have does

not define, nor change the quality of Life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to

enjoy the coffee God has  provided us.”

God brews the coffee, not the cups……… Enjoy your coffee!

“The happiest people don’t have the best of everything.

They just make the  best of everything.” Live simply. Love

generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly and  bloom where

you are planted! Leave the rest to God.
