My stress level went through the roof when the doctors told me I had cancer. That was in 2007. Today, I keep so busy helping others I don't have time to think about it. It's about whether I'm thinking positive or negative...it's about not giving my mind time to entertain the idea of contemplating cancer. Went to see the doctors last Tuesday and they don't want to see me back for another year!!!!!! Part of my recovery was being willing to try anything. Reiki, crystals, yoga, meditation, omitting sugar and drinking turmeric and warm water. Today I'm organizing an event to bring health professionals and healers together to share their knowledge and skills to people interested in taking charge of their own health. It's called "Passport to Wellness." If your close to Aurora, Ontario check out the agenda at the link: www.artcures.ca

Hello, I am new to the group and I know that I stress and worry. This is due to finances (I am the only one with a good job/husband is not pastoring a church right now/he works odd jobs for a friend that pays cash), having a baby in November (my health and the baby's health), and being a mother to a 6-year-old son. I guess this is a part of life, but sometimes it can take a toll on a person. I hope that this will help me feel better about things going on.

Good Morning Everyone! I'm new here and I do want to learn new ways to combat stress. I have Dermatomyositis and lupus, I homeschool my boys. Right now this illness is in full swing because all the stress I was under for the last year or so. It has affected my health tremendously. I have tried so many things to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

I have found that by releasing all judgments and opinions I really don't have much worry or stress anymore. It's so miraculous! I find that the teachings of A COURSE IN MIRACLES help reduce stress tremendously - although initially it can bring a lot to the surface, it's so deeply healing and transformational. Releasing the stress is essential to a life of joy! What a great group!

I have a beautiful baby boy and he is such a handful! I hardly have time to do anything else with him on my tail every second and I never get any sleep. He is 10 months old and wakes up in the middle of the night for hours at a time. He wasn't always like that though. Its been this way for 2 weeks! My doctor says he is fine, just don't feed him in the middle of the night...I NEVER DO! So I just have to deal with his nightly tantrums until I know what else I could do that would help! So if you know anything that would help me please let me know... thanks:)

Glad to have found this group. I am carrying "old stress" around in a very happy life. Why I continue to ignore it, it still grips my shoulders and neck during the day. My life has reached a peaceful time, so why still the stress???
