The Scripture which comes to mind is this: Philippians 4:6-7 Have no anxiety at all, but in everythings by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. - - - with Blessings from, Kathreen Ksnewsong |

I really need this group! In the past year my uncle died of lung cancer. My cousin his son died in days of finding he had pancreatic cancer. I was my Dads caretaker for months before he died in April of 2011. Then another cousin died in the ER in her early 50's. Then I found out a month later my best friend my ex husband who moved in with me after 15 years apart has stage 4 bladder cancer at 48 years old. I am stresssed!!! I am a caretaker again looking to find support and balance in my own life. AngeltoaFew |

I am new to the group.... and yes I worry all of the time. It is as if there is a co-dependent relationship there, nonetheless I worry. I am looking for tips to live in the present instead of worrying about things all of the time. I have written a journal in the past and it worked but of course stopped that. I feel isolated, and don't have many friends due to abusive childhood and inability to trust people. We just moved too... hoping for a new start~ Lady Gaga's Just Dance just came on.... lol. Maybe I will do that with the baby! Does anyone have any tips for stressing less? I mean in the end it doesn't change anything except the amount of energy we have to give to others less positive energy for negative. Cassandrascurse |

My stress level went through the roof when the doctors told me I had cancer. That was in 2007. Today, I keep so busy helping others I don't have time to think about it. It's about whether I'm thinking positive or negative...it's about not giving my mind time to entertain the idea of contemplating cancer. Went to see the doctors last Tuesday and they don't want to see me back for another year!!!!!! Part of my recovery was being willing to try anything. Reiki, crystals, yoga, meditation, omitting sugar and drinking turmeric and warm water. Today I'm organizing an event to bring health professionals and healers together to share their knowledge and skills to people interested in taking charge of their own health. It's called "Passport to Wellness." If your close to Aurora, Ontario check out the agenda at the link: www.artcures.ca Artcures |

Hello, I am new to the group and I know that I stress and worry. This is due to finances (I am the only one with a good job/husband is not pastoring a church right now/he works odd jobs for a friend that pays cash), having a baby in November (my health and the baby's health), and being a mother to a 6-year-old son. I guess this is a part of life, but sometimes it can take a toll on a person. I hope that this will help me feel better about things going on. Bjnsn123 |
I need this group. I am the sole wage earner as a result of my hyusbands decline in healh 5 years after open heart surgery. It has been 6 months now and I know only through the prayer and faith I am holding on, I will continue to stress less. Proverbs 3:5 is my verse of thought each day. I am working full time, a few hours part time, and now just started a store at TeachersPayTeachers.com/store/Live2teacheveryday This site is a blessing to me because I was determined not to become involved in some other social media site that was recommended to promote my products. Since January I only sold near five dollars. I was near tears but held to my word that I would not open my life or heart to any site that was not faith based. Today I found beliefnet! I feel relieved and happy. Support me in prayer that I will continue to keep my family on the right path, provide medicine, encourage them to keep the faith, feed them, and maintain my faith and relationship with God. My heart feels clean and my spirit feels happy.
