I very much agree with your views upon Christianity not being the sole true faith, but A true faith. I myself incorporate Dharmic and other beliefs into my personal spirituality, but remain a Christian.
Horton, how are you and your family? Prayers and thoughts your way during this time. I hope y'all are safe and dry.
If I could post those sparkly things, I'd do it.
Happy Birthday! May you have the best one so far, and may your next ones be better!
Yes, religion sometimes is overly dogmatic and tells people what to think. But 'spirituality' often means simply thinking any damn fool thing, no matter how stupid. If there is any grain of truth in the cliche of religion being oppressively authoritarian, then there is equally a grain of truth in the clich of 'spirituality' being self-centered silliness.
Religion many times tells you WHAT to think. Spirituality asks what DO you think/believe.
Many religions are far too rigid..wars are fought in the name of Religions..
All religions but ONE GOd remember...so what does it really matter?
Peace Be with YOU.

Good pic of Minute Maid Park. Until Next Year, Go Astros.
New York City?!
Do they put corned beef in it?
what's with the store fronts? But salsa verde? I get it. Nuff said. Assuming salsa can be made rightly in Houston... Have you every tried any from New York CITY?
It's hard to read, but it's a picture of "Manuel's", a Mexican restaurant in Austin that makes the best salsa verde and the best mole' I've ever had. I found a daylight pix to use that's easier to see.
