I believe God puts people in front of us for one or all of the following :                              

A Season- could be just a lil' while

A Reason- could bejust to help you with a problem or even vice versa.

A lifetime- a friend for a lifetime should be greatly cherished.

It's up to us to figure which of the three and why.
