Hello - I have enjoyed reading your journal entries, and I even made a few comments in the appropriate places. I assumed that, since there was a place for comments, it would be all right to intrude on what is, after all, a private place where you could reflect upon your life. At any rate, I wanted to say that I, too, enjoy the Jonathan Kellerman detective novels, and I have read every single one of them right up to the most recent. Alex Delaware is great! But, I also like Faye Kellerman's stuff as well, and I am at present reading her latest, "The Burnt House" and finding it a real page-turner. If you like Kellerman's style, you would probably like the "nameless detective" series of Bill Pronzini, the "Lieberman" series of Stuart Kaminsky, and Lawrence Block's thrillers as well. He has written four "hit man" crime novels that make for absorbing reading. Who would have thought that you could make a hit man a sympathetic hero? solfeggio |
