It's been ages since I visited this site, being swamped like most of us with various things, but I would like to ask all of you if you could take a minute to show support and solidarity with the people of Burma. Last year on May 2nd around 200,000 people died resulting from Cyclone Nargis. The anniversary date is fast approaching.

The sanctions clearly are only hurting the poor in Burma. I have seen this myself, the rich are doing fine and getting richer and richer. The sanctions are only serving to isolate the Burmese people, when they most need the support of the international community.

Please take a second to sign this petition to the UN to find a better solution.
