Jan 13, 2008 7:35 AM Has anyone noticed Cats have their own personalities a dog will do what an owner wants them to do ... lie down roll over you know... ever try to get a cat to do that uh uh not happening thats what I mean about them having their own personalities...I also noticed when I am injured in any way my cat would always curl up with me whether it was emotional or physical. They have intution down to a fine art and are great ones to learn from...each one of my boys are cat people too they love dogs but seem to be drawn to cats... My youngest son still has the cat he grew up with and he was five or six years old when she was born... now he will be 24 this year and has taken his cat wherever he has travelled...cats are wonderful companions also my sister lives by herself and she has a cat she rescued from the humane society here in town he is a character too he has a thumb on each paw never seen that before... and if she goes away for a day or two . He makes sure she knows he is pissed off with her LOL he will grab her leg with both paws like he is hugging her and softly bite her leg and he does put up a big fuss when she does get back home... like I said they each have their own personalities... LOVE ~ LIGHT AND BLESSINGS ... manidooke manidooke

I have a cat story some might enjoy hearing about. I had moved out of state to try to live close to my son and his dad since my son was wanting and missing his dad. So, my son moved in with his dad, and I lived in an apartment by myself and did this for three months. I could not make a living there as the job market was limited. So when I realized I had to move back to CA w/o my son I developed a deep sense of remorse, guilt, fear and just a terrible sadddness and huge sense of failure. With my furniture in storage, I waited for one or two weeks in an empty apartment for my dad to fly in and drive back with me. (1800 miles) Anyway the last week or two I heard a kitten meowing at the bottom of the stairs outside so I took him in, bought him food and a litter box, ect. This cat was a God-send at that time because I was dealing with anxiety, waking up at night in a panic over my circumstances, ect. And whenever I needed comfort, the cat would come next to me and come running to me when I would wake up at night. I was aware at that time how grateful I was for that little kitty. That was another situation where God gave me what I needed when I needed it. Although it seemed coincidental at the time. |

Thank Creator for Kids and Dogs The photographer did a great job of matching up the kids and dogs. This is adorable!! A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift A friend is someone we treasure for our friendship is a gift A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy, and grace. And makes the world we live in a better and happier place. There is a miracle called friendship, that dwells in the heart. You do not know how it happens or when it gets it's start. But you know the special lift it always brings. You realize that friendship is the world's most precious gift! Send this to all your friends, no matter how often you talk, or how close you are, and send it to the person who sent it to you. Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them, and tell new friends you never will. WHY GOD MADE PETS They help out around the house... They protect our children... They look out for the smaller ones... They show us how to relax... They
