It's the age-old question for Harry Potter relationshippers: Cho or Ginny?
A coworker and I once lamented how suddenly Harry fell for Ginny. Despite being Ron's sister, she had been a peripheral character for most of the series, and suddenly Harry fell madly in love with her. We didn't have a clear sense of her as a character...and we just felt it was a contrived romance. Still, neither of us really thought Cho was a strong character either.
If you were Harry's matchmaker, who would you have paired him with in the series?
I was more annoyed by Ginny's sudden change of personality. I could have done without romance for Harry, and come to think of it for the other two as well because it made Hermione hysterical. If it had to be someone, I would have kept him with Cho - I'd just have thrown more obstacles in their path. Having two kids grow up together is more interesting than someone suddenly blooms overnight and therefore becomes girlfriend material.
