Hello out there.  I have enjoyed the daily newsletters and periodically look at the profiles that come attached to them.  This looks like a community, I would really like to be a part of.  Lots of interesting people with varied backgrounds in faith all searching for the right path for them. I also loved the ability to add a charity to this website. Here is my story. 

Three years ago I was driving home from a wonderful evening out with a friend.  We had the best time!  We dressed up, had a great meal, and walked on the pier looking at the ocean.  We talked about God and having a purpose in life.  It was so peaceful and wonderful.  On the drive home we looked at each other and said that we had a Great Time!  Not 5 minutes after that a drunk driver pulled in front of my van.  I crashed into them going 55 miles an hour.  My van flipped over and over again and ended upside down in a ditch.  People that had seen the accident stopped and pulled me from my vehicle and I walked away.  My friend didn't.  Sal died there that night.  My charity is M.A.D.D.  Mother's Against Drunk Driving.  They are striving to end drunk driving forever.  They also give support to anyone that has been in this situation or the friends and family that have been left behind.
