I think we are astonishingly lucky to be able to communicate with fellow human beings (with similar interests) so easily. It gives me hope for the future!

Given that birth and death are part of the process known as life.
Given that there is continuity of consciousness.
Given that this consciousness can expand or contract, evolve or devolve, be altered with effort. (even if it is all an illusion)
Then somewhere in space and time there exists an extension of your consciousness that has achieved perfection. Some Buddhists call this Virvana. (Nagarjuna said that there is no difference between Nirvana and Samsara, Buddha just said he was awake).
If this perfected extension of your consciousness exists in perfection, than might it not be possible to contact it, and get some help? The nature of Time and Space is largely unexplored by most of us.
Maybe we can call out to our perfect nature and get some of it to rub off in the now to speed things up a bit. This is a form of Deity Yoga (baby steps), and it is an exercise in visualization.
