God says:
Jeremiah 29:11
New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plansA)"> I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosperB)"> you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Well, God how will I know the plan and purpose you have for me?
God says this is how you will know:
New Living Translation (©2007) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need
O.k. what's that mean God?
Simply put my child:
DENY YOURSELF, PICK UP YOUR CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME
What the world has to offer is no comparison to what God has for us. Listen to the cross reference of that scripture.
1 Kings 3:13 NIV "Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for--both riches and honor--so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings."
The hardest thing for man to do is allow anything or anyone to control him. The world is constantly saying "take control of your own destiny." "She's a self-made Millionaire", "Don't let anyone or anything control your life" and oftentime the end result of that is alcoholism, drug addiction, parnography, anger, rage and depression.
But God is saying yes, I gave you a free will but I was hoping that you would choose me. Choose me because I loved you before the world was created. Choose me because I know your thoughts afar off. Choose me because I have numbered every hair on your head. Choose me because I have intrinsicly made you and I am in woven in your DNA. Choose me becaus I AM THE ONE WHO CREATED YOU!
Everything God makes has a purpose and so do you and I! Don't allow satan to tell you to give up! It's over for you! Your gone! No, repeat God's words "God says "He has a plan and a purpose for me ...." God says "He wishes to prosper me and not harm me."
There's a story in the bible about a woman who felt as though she had no purpose. This woman was denied and rejected. She was rejected by her own husband. You know the story of Jacob and Leah...
Jacob had worked for 7 years to marry Rachel, Leah's sister and after the 7 years he went to their father Laban and asked for Rachel's hand in marriage. But on the night of the marriage when Jacob woke up the next morning he was in the bed with Leah.
Lord, Help! Some of y'all know the story you go to bed and woke up with a stranger!
O.k., that's another sermon!
Anyway, Jacob wakes up sees Leah and is very upset because this is not the woman he wants. Leah did not have the beauty or the attributes that Rachel had in fact she was cockeyed (cross eyed).
So, Jacob worked another 7 years for Laban to marry Rachel because he loved her. He loved Rachel but was still sleeping with Leah to make do.
Lord! Don't ever be just a make do!
But as the story goes Leah had all a lot of babies trying to keep her man. Ladies, we know how that story ends it didn't work for Leah and it still ain't workin.
So, this story is full of baby momma drama but the end results is that Leah finally turned to God and gave her all to God. It took Leah several years to understand that God, alone, was her hope and inspiration. It was God, alone, who could encourage her in her deepest rejection.
It wasn't sons, it wasn't a man. It was God. And at that point, she stopped having children. Rachael's womb was opened, and she began bearing Jacob sons, one of which was Joseph.
But the best of part of this story is that it is Leah's son, Judah, who is listed in the genealogy of Jesus. Rachael's son, Joseph, is not listed in that genealogy. Judah means praise and it was through his line that our Savior came.
11 For I know the plansA)"> I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosperB)"> you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!

Since the beginning of creation God has been speaking to man.
God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners, hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son” (Heb. 1:1).
New International Version (©1984)For God does speak--now one way, now another--though man may not perceive it
Gensis 46:2 And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, "Jacob! Jacob!" "Here I am," he replied. Job 33:29 "God does all these things to a man--twice, even three times-- Job 40:5 I spoke once, but I have no answer--twice, but I will say no more." Psalm 62:11 One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, Daniel 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying on his bed. He wrote down the substance of his dream

You Demons that assigned to frustrate, cancel, destroy or delay God's plans for me I NOW PUT YOU ON NOTICE! IF GOD BE FOR ME WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME!
You have used every device that you could to try to destroy me....
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Church
4. Character Assassination
5. Using men who are to secure a person's body to give you information
6. Using people to get close to me for al
7. Trying to remove me from where God has placed me
GIVE UP YOU DEMON! GOD HAS PLACED ME WHERE I AM SUPPOSE TO BE AND YOU WILL NOT REMOVE ME!!!!
Demons hate, and I mean hate, every single one of these verses, as they are all a constant reminder to each and everyone of them that they are all defeated and that they have no chance against any true, born-again Christian who knows who they really are in Jesus Christ, who knows how to wield the Sword of the Holy Spirit, and who knows how to walk with the anointing that God can flow through them.
- “… that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:14)
- “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13)
- “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2:15)
- “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)
- “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:11)
- “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a servant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God has also highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:5-11)

It is said that gossip is another form of murder. It's character assassination! Which is the same as murder. When I gossip I am trying to convince someone that you are bad and that I am good. It leaves the person your talking about defenseless because they are not there to defend themselves.
Today I was invited to breakfast with two other people and they continuously gossiped about others but I was just as guilty because I said nothing to subside or eliminate the gossip. I never tried to change the conversation or say I don't want to participate in this conversation I just listened.
I feel bad! I discovered that not saying anything is just the same as participating. I didn't know the young man they were talking about but I didn't have to all I had to say is I don't want to talk about so and so or I don't want that in my spirit.
It's o.k. God will always give you another opportunity to do the right thing.
