I am writing on depression and guess what? You got it! Never have I been so depressed.
I'm like God are you sure I'm the one to do this? Anyway, this too shall pass.
Depression is just anger turned inward. So, how do I get rid of it?
Exactly, Thank God I have friends who call me and tell me to "get out of my head and leave mysef alone." Are they will say " stop singing that same old song "Me-Me-Me."
Are better yet, "going up into your head is a dangerous place you should always take someone with you. In otherwords, run your ideas past someone else before you follow through with them.
But for those of you who are loners here are a couple of books a found for fascinating reading. I love to read. So, you'll usually find me at the library and coming out with a arm load of books. I kept my kids in them. They'd ask me "Mom, do we have to go to every library?"
Anyway here they are:
Writing through the Darkness (easing your depression with paper and pen) by Elizabeth Maynard Schaefer, Ph.D. ISBN: 9-781587-613197
Dr. Schaefer acknowledges "We all contend with significant grieef and inner turmoil at some point in our lives and one in five of us will struggle with depression."
Now this one is a great book for men who suffer from depression:
This book is a National Bestseller:
I don't want to talk about it (overcoming the secret legacy of male depression) by Terrence Real ISBN: 0-684-8539-8
Your not alone. I say that to my brothers and sister suffering in silence.
God Bless!
If no one told you that they love you today I do!
