One day I mediated that I needed a sign that He was listening to me. At work, the very same day my boss asked for someone to do overtime on the weekend. Since this was a rarity everyone spoke up at once. Democratically our names were entered into a hat and I had won. This is only the beginning.

My sister-in-law, Michelle had died about two month prior from a fight with cancer. She had been living away from her home town and came back to her family prior to her death. She had many friends however they were unaware that she had returned and also of her untimely death.

While working the overtime I had occasion to meet a security guard. As it turned out he was a good friend of my wife’s family but the conversation turned to Michelle. He was sadden by the information but thankful of the knowledge.

During my conversation with the gentleman I also learned that he was waiting for workers to escort them into a work site in building but it turned out that someone else escorted the workers prior to his arrival.

The coincidence was I normally (read (never)) would not be working the weekend. Had this gentleman been on duty earlier he would have been escorting the workers and we would have never met.

It was not until I got home that the whole incident became clear to me that He was indeed listening loud and clear.
