Hi, my name is Carol Kiparisus and I live in Lexington, S.C. I began working with BellSouth in 1970 right out of high school and retired 30 years later. When I retired I thought I would have the rest of my life to spend with my son but it didn't work out that way. He was killed in a one car auto collision March 9,2003 at the age of 26. I am a member at Laurel Baptist, involved with Families of Highway Fatalities(connects families together after a loss on SC highways) have G-Children from my two S-Daughters, love working in the yard. Since the death of my son, John, my walk with the Lord has been AWESOME!!! Never could I have imagined how he would work in my life. When I started getting messages, I began calling them my GodWinks. God gave me exactly what I needed when I needed it. He gave me the ability to write poetry during the first few years after John's death and with my GodWinks I knew I was suppose to share them with others. In 2008, "WORDS FROM GOD THROUGH A GRIEVING MOTHER'S HEART" was published. I pray for healing for others that read it and it will show others that we can continue our lives, even with a hole in it. As difficult as these past 6 years have been I've opened my heart and mind for all things that are sent to me by God. I have survived the worst part of my life, without Gods direction, encouragement, comfort and love I really don't know where I would be.

Hi, I'm Pam, from Shawnee, OK, and just finding this story was an absolute Godwink. I had just been discussing with my son an event in my life that was unexpected and at first, upsetting, then God gave me the realization that He had reason for it, and even if I didn't understand why, HE certainly did, and that Faith would see me through my own impatience. I can't wait to read and share stories with the others in this group.  It is such a positive motivator and wonderful reminder to Let go an Let God. Hope to hear from the other members, too.

Hello!I'm Judy Morrill in  Virginia. I picked up When God Winks At You a couple of years ago in an airport for something to read on a long trip and couldn't put it down.I made a mental list of the numerous winks from God I could identify at the time and thought about it a lot for awhile and then forgot about it.

Recently I was forced to retire before I had planned to do so and the bottom dropped put of the market before I could do anything to manage the 401K I have. Then in February my horse  and confidant Risky became gravely ill with liver failure and the kindest thing I could do for him was to let him go. He was 28 years old.

I had decided not to get another horse as I was worried about my ability to afford one on a very limited income. Three days after he died a friend came to me to tell me of someone she knew with a horse in a difficult situation. The horse was being boarded and was not being taken care of properly. In fact he was starving to death because he was being seriously bullied by other horses and the people responsible for his care were not makeing sure he got to eat nor were they feeding them properly in the first place. To make matters worse the horse suffered a wound  that needed attention . The owner of the horse had been extremely busy and hadn't seen the horse in awhile and was shocked to find him in such poor condition. She had a vet look at the horse and he told her she should move him to a place that she could be sure that he would be properly cared for. She would pay his expenses if I could keep him for her. Since I am a sucker for a needy horse I agreed. "What's his name ?" I asked. "Big Mac" was the reply. I was startled. Big Mac was a horse I owned who was the reason I moved to the place in the country where I live today. I was living in Richmond and boarding Big Mac who was a beautiful paint quarter/Tennessee Walker cross. Big Mac died from complications of a severe colic in 1999 just two weeks after I had signed the closing papers on my little ranch. I never got to move Big Mac here but found Risky who needed a home.  My new Big Mac has been here a couple of months as is looking better everyday. My old Big Mac  and God have both given me a wink.

Okay here is another Godwink I have many more given to me when God wants me to have it.       Walking 3 feet off the ground

When I've got the blues and feeling down, I think about the days I walked 3 feet off the ground.  The sun shinning in my face is God above smiling down, is what helps me walk 1,2,3 feet off the ground. 

The time my wife said" I do," to a love so true made me feel like walking 1,2,3 feet off the ground.  The days my children were born, the miracle of birth is what made me feel like walking 3 feet off the ground.  With the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost  they helped me and my family the most to walk 1,2,3 feet off the ground. 
 
But when the sun shines down tears of joy fall to the ground, when I have that feeling of walking 3 feet off the ground.  Where I didn't care if my feet even made a sound.  If you ever had that feeling once in your life, it would be so profound that if you died that moment you could of had a better life.
Each time the sun shinned down was Gods love and blessing hitting you to make you walk 1,2,3 feet off the ground.

Walking on the pier head the other day I began to pray for the catch of the day.  I caught one with my simple prayer, just then I got that feeling like God was smiling down on me to help me see I was walking 1,2,3 feet off the ground.  My feet not even making a sound.  Got it good with my wife and kids, and God above shinning down his love.

If I died just then it couldn't be any better my friends.  Without any  drugs or alcohol to be found this was genuine walking 3 feet off the ground.  Now how would that sound?  Where your soul soars above yourself, and you know what's important, your spiritual wealth.  It's something no money can buy, only through the holy trinity, that's why I'm walking 3 feet off the ground.

There would be no crime if they had a sip of the divine wine called God’s love that made me walk 3 feet above.  The evil that people do would all fall through if they felt that feeling of walking 1,2,3 feet above with the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.  People forget or don’t care anymore that my sweet Lord is watching  all of us from shore to shore.  Why are we here, and what do we most fear?
