A Florida pawn shop owner, Frank James, has decided to stop selling guns and has pulled them from his shelves.  Since guns accounted for at least half of his sales, this was a major move for James, who said that he 'just couldn't be part of it anymore.'

As James admitted, 'I couldn't live with myself if one of my firearms went out, got into the wrong hands, and killed an innocent person.'

This is the sort of attitude all people should have, right?

See? There are a few of us in the USA that get it. Too damn few though.

Conscience over money?
Come on, Solf, this is America!

For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible.

St. Thomas Aquinas

If one turns his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an abomination. Proverbs 28:9

Wrong.

It is a perfectly fine attitude for those who wish to share it to have.

Since I don't share this attitude it is not the one I should have, do have, have had, or will have.

More power to him.

It's a start, at least.

From article: He also acknowledged that the decision could prove costly, since roughly half of his shop’s income derived from gun sales.

Anyone interested in making up his income short fall? He has kids- including a 6 year old daughter.

I'm very curious as to why rangerken so completely disagrees with what Mr. James has done.
