Here's a Fox News video:



OK, that's not really a Fox News video; it's a joke.

For an example of how Fox News selectively edits Obama's speech, causing him to deliver sequences of words he never used, go here:

I'm still not an Obama fan, but nobody deserves this kind of lowlife treatment.

KBears, I liked the joke video. I thought it was pretty clever.


However, I found the doctored Fox News interview truly disgusting.

Well, KBears, I didn't really make that clear.


I can easily see how people might think that Fox News is responsible for the Justin Bieber thing, althouth if you know Fox News you know they'd never use anything like that, 'cause it doesn't cast Obama in a bad light.

And you use Media Matters on this? They INVENTED this type of attack. That is ALL they do. What hypocracy on their part

I do know that Fox News is the reason George Soros decided to fund Media Matters, as a kind of counterweight and monitor. He might have named it Antifox.

Yes, they invented the selectively edited quote.


Look at anything they say about Rush. Look at anything they say about Fox. Look at what they say about Ann Coulter.


To provide just one example, Coulter in responding to a Bill Maher quote about the world being a better place if someone assassinated Cheney mentioned, in a segment about John Edwards (pre his destroying himself), that next time she'll just say he would be better off dead. Of course MM just reported the last part, not the context. That is just their way, and why the organization has no useful purpose.


I just ignore them completely, as all intelligent people do, but when they whine about someone else treating anyone the same way they treat people, it makes one laugh.

I sincerely doubt they "invented" it, but in any event it is irrelevant. Fox News claims to be a serious news outlet. Editing a clip before presenting it is not news reporting.
