Why? Is it someone wrong for someone to make a comment or hold a belief on the murder of Trayvon? I could not care less what injuries the murderer had. He should not have gotten out of his car and should not have had a gun and should not have chased down Trayvon and he should not have attacked Trayvon. He should also have not called Trayvon a "coon." That's a whole lot of should not haves. He did them anyway and has to pay for it.

Of course Trayvon fought back when some guy that had no business to stop him started an attack. I'd fight back too.

Of course Zimmerman is lying to save his butt from the electric chair.

And as for "professionals" doing their job... well if they did Zimmerman would have been arrested on the spot. It is important that we keep pressure on these "professionals" to do their job right. Giving a "professional" free reign is not the American way.

Wealthy people are more likely to be targeted for buglaries, robberies, home invasions or car jackings than other folks.

They are also frequently have prejoratives leveled against them -- "Fat cats," "Greedy bastards," "Trust fund babies," "the idle rich," etc. -- which could, arguably motivate some to attack and/or steal from them.

Perhaps "hate crime" protection should be extended to them too.

The definition of hate crime is:

hate crime : a crime that violates the victim's civil rights and that is motivated by hostility to the victim's race, religion, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender. Link

Nowhere in that definition does it limit victims to blacks and gays.

What about a crime motivated by hate but not defined as a hate crime.

I find the whole hate crime idea as silly.
