Our friends at FoxFakeNews / Newscorp  should take note of this and maybe clean up their act? O.K. we all know that is not going to happen

U.K. lawmakers: Rupert Murdoch unfit to lead company
News Corp. chief Rupert Murdoch must take responsibility for serious failings that caused Britain's tabloid phone hacking scandal, lawmakers said Tuesday in a scathing report — as a narrow majority also insisted the tycoon was unfit to lead his global media empire.

Not surprised. Wish I believed something good would come out of this knowledge.

A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle

Apparently the investigation of News Corp's questionable activities here is really just starting to get going, according to a news report I caught yesterday, and it'll be interesting to see whether they find something.

BTW, the Faux News network that claims it's so "fair and balanced", along with O'Reilly's talking about being "true patriots", pays significantly less taxes that many other networks because they use a building on Grand Cayman Island for their "headquarters" for tax purposes.  This seems to fit O'Reilly's definition of "pinheads" much better.

That's just an advisory panel. We have to see whether anything gets done in practice! Personally, wherever possible, I refuse to read that empire's distortions.
